Physical conditioning effects on fetal heart rate responses to graded maternal exercise
Article Abstract:
No negative correlation has been found between maternal exercise and fetal heart rate in healthy pregnancies. Although heart rate response was linked with advancing gestational age, brief exercise resulting in a maternal heart rate of 170 beats per minute did not bring about fetal distress. Baseline maternal physical fitness did not significantly affect fetal heart rate response.

Perceived exertion during prepregnancy physical activity and preeclampsia risk
Article Abstract:
An analysis to investigate whether perceived exertion during physical activity in the year before pregnancy is associated with risk of preeclampsia is discussed. It is found that relative intensity of recreational physical activity performed during the year before pregnancy led to decreased risk of preeclampsia.

The role of regular physical activity in preeclampsia prevention
Article Abstract:
Preeclampsai affects 2-7% of pregnancies and is a leading cause of maternal and fetal mobility and mortality. The only protection against preeclampsia is exercise and this would provide a low-intervention that could dramatically improve prenatal care for women at risk of this disease.
