The costs of attempting to arrive at an ideal weight are examined. Amounts spent on professional consulting, special foods, books, materials, diet programming, clothes, equipment, club memberships, cosmetic surgery and time are considered, as are psychological dangers.

The effect of prolonged exercise on lipid peroxidation in eumenorrheic female runners
Article Abstract:
Prolonged exercise does not appear to increase the possibility for lipid peroxidation in trained women runners experiencing a low estrogen phase in their menstrual cycle. Estrogens as free radical scavengers and the effects of half-marathon are examined.
