BMW is introducing a new motorcycle called the Bomber, an improvement on the R1100RS. With 10% slashed from the latter's weight through the use of carbon-fiber parts, the Bomber boasts of speedier acceleration. Dutch chassis specialist Nico Bakker was the Bomber's designer.

Another V-twin? From France?!

Voxan, a new French motorcycle manufacturer, will introduce Voxan V1000 Roadster in Sept 1997. The bike is powered by a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, dohc, 72-degree V-Twin engine. Voxan will introduce four more motorcycle models until 1999.

Quick ride - Laverda Ghost Strike (modular motorcycle)

Laverda has launched a modular motorcycle called Ghost Strike at the Cologne Show last fall. The bike has a 668 Sport's Nico Bakker-derived, aluminum alloy chassis, a same air/oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 668 cc parallel-Twin engine.
