A sailor sailing alone was believed lost at sea after 120 days without word from him. But after another 72 days, winds brought his boat Solitaire into the English channel. He had battled monsoon rains, gales and headwinds and almost depleted his food supply. He describes some of his adventures.

Lovely was a pet cat that thrived in ocean environments as one sailor attests. Lovely was unlike most cats who instinctively feared water as she adjusted quickly to sea life when she was adopted by her next owners who cared for the cat for 17 years.
