Rewrite the ranking rules
Article Abstract:
The best-of-14 rule in tournament tennis allows only the best results of the past 12 months to be counted in rank of players. The ambiguity means that the No. 1 player is not always the best. Player Stefan Edberg wants John McEnroe to help restructure ranking rules.

Ion Tiriac is one of the most controversial personalities in tennis. Since retiring as a player, Tiriac has turned to coaching and promoting. Tiriac is also playing a role in a number of charitable efforts in his native Romania, including building an orphanage.
