Risk factors for groin injuries in hockey
Article Abstract:
Research presented concerns the risk factors associated with abdominal and groin strain injuries afflicting ice hockey players, focusing on muscle flexibility, strength, and the amount of off-season training engaged in by the player. Findings suggest that elite-level players that participate in less off-season, hockey-specific training, were more likely to incur groin injuries.

Heart rate variability of recently concussed athletes at rest and exercise
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to examine the neuroautonomic cardiovascular regulation in concussed athletes at rest and in response to low moderate steady exercise, using heart rate variability (HRV). The results suggest that no difference at rest is detected between the concussed athletes and their matched controls in any of the HRV variables measured.
