Romal-style rein release
Article Abstract:
Romal-style rein configuration technique is performed to teach the horse to yield to bit pressure, by lowering his head and neck to a point level with his withers. With this the rider would not only gain the flat-necked configuration that presents an athletic, winning profile in the reining pen, but he would also melt any resistance the horse has to bit pressure.
