President Clinton has received a lot of publicity for his daily run through the streets of Washington, DC, but he is not the only politician who likes to run. A number of US politicians are avid runners, including Republican Congressional candidate Jim Ryan, a former world-record holder in the mile.

Runner Khalid Khannouchi met his future wife when both dropped out of a race in Hartford, CT. She advised Khannouchi to change his training regimen and is now the manager of Khannouchi's career. Khannouchi's running has drastically improved.
