Sacred cows?

Two hundred seventy million acres owned and managed by the federal government are leased at very low rates to ranchers for grazing. This has cost taxpayers more than $650 million over the past six years. Grazing livestock consume rare plants, contribute to desertification, and destroy wildlife habitat.

Killer cows

Cows are dull-witted, annoying animals. One hunter recalls his encounters with the animals, being chased and treed by a bull during childhood, being licked in the face by a curious cow while squirrel hunting, and other humorous anecdotes.
