Sail Trim know-how: the shape of the new reaching sails

A 'twisted flow' wind tunnel in New Zealand has meant sail designers can test reduced size sails in shorter time spans and manufacture sails which are easier to control and which go faster. Aspects of a gennakers improvements over the traditional spinnaker are discussed.
