An increasing number of older Americans are buying long-term care insurance, but for most people the premiums may not justify the coverage. Statistics show that only one in three will need over 60 days of help at home, while one in ten will require as many as three years of care.

Team up for a change

An increasing number of women are becoming involved in team sports both for fitness and companionship. Statistics indicate that age is not a major factor as more than one million women over age 35 play softball and 2.3 million play volleyball. Specific examples are given.
