The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is accessible by non-motorized methods only. One ice fishing party hoping to obtain many redfin trout used dogsleds to get to prime fishing spots. Their experience is described.

Fake frogs fool bass

Fishing lures in the shape of frogs work well to attract bass fish. Frogs are part of the bass fish's diet. The lures are effective when used in shallow water, near the weed line or shoreline, and in small openings.
