A woman describes a nine-day backpacking trip she and a companion took in Denali National Park in Alaska. The park has few trails and they frequently had to navigate by compass and topo maps. An encounter with a grizzly bear is recounted.

Article Abstract:
This tent is excellent in a rainstorm. The $235 tent weighs a total of 5 lbs and 12 oz. Ventilation is good and the double-adjusting fly is a nice feature. The only problem is a small vestibule.
