Some easy exercise tips to lengthen the horse's hunter-under-saddle trot stride are presented. This technique would encourage the horse to propel himself forward from his hindquarters, elevating his shoulders so he can cover more ground with free extension of his front legs, creating a flat-kneed, slow-legged trot, without adding more speed.
