Sailing is becoming increasingly dominated by fossil-fuel dependency because of the hectic, schedule-driven lifestyles of many sailors and the desire to have all the comforts of home on board. A raft of new products and concepts is going to transform the systems side of boats over the next decade, resulting in significantly greater energy efficiency and systems integration.
