The US Ski Team's problems in Jan 1997 included Craig Thrasher's and Kyle Rasmussen's skiing-related injuries. Tommy Moe cut his thumb in a bar, AJ Kitt suffered from burnout and coach Ueli Luthi spent time in jail. Chad Fleisher had to deal with a family tragedy. The team hopes to recover.
