Tennis and the tribesmen

The game of tennis started in the Masai village of Kenya when Robert Quall, a tennis player and a municipal court judge, introduced the game to the tribesmen during a 1994 medical mission. The tribesmen exhibited promising tennis skills, which can be attributed to their warrior skills.

How come fun's not enough?
Article Abstract:
The increasing tendency to include marketing gimmicks in tennis is lessening the fun that was previously associated with the game. This tendency, if used excessively as marketing tools, may backfire because tennis fans know the difference between gimmicks and a sport.
