The boy who fell to earth
Article Abstract:
Parker dominated the junior tennis world through much of the 1980s, routinely beating players who later became top-ranked pros, such as Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, Michael Chang and Pete Sampras. Parker went to college instead of joining the tour, and upon graduation discovered he had fallen far behind his peers. His attempts to succeed as a professional tennis player were hampered by injuries.
