Street is known as much for her aggressively confident demeanor as for her excellence at skiing. A knee injury caused her to miss the 1997 season, but the 1996 World Cup champion is re-dedicating herself for the gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

Rossland gold

Expressly Heuga

Jimmie Heuga, who won a bronze medal in the slalom in the 1964 Winter Olympics, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1970. Heuga established the Mazda Ski Express to benefit MS patients.
