The effects of fluorocarbon and lead
Article Abstract:
Studies show that fishing with lead and fluorocarbon poisons waterfowl in a variety of ways like paralysis, loss of appetite, massive tissue and organ destruction and the use of such materials should be eliminated. Monofilaments are good alternatives and less hazardous than the fluorocarbons and lead, which does not pose a long-term threat to the environment.

The logic of limits
Article Abstract:
Catch-and-release regulations may not always be the best for trout in streams across America, while selective imposition of the regulation may protect some wild trout, such as Colorado greenback cutthroat from being over harvested. The method in which fish is caught plays an important role in fish mortality.
