Article Abstract:
Jackie Krshka, the 1999 AQHA Horsewoman of the Year, is one of the few Quarter Horse trainers and exhibitors to have learned to show in the former environment and risen to prominence in the latter and credits her family legacy for her success. Her accomplishments include being the first female breeder and trainer of an AQHA World Show Superhorse, the first female trainer and exhibitor of an AQHA World Champion Working Cowhorse and the highest-placing female ever at the NRHA Futurity.

The Great Whiz
Article Abstract:
The Great Whiz slid his way into reining-horse history by winning the National Reining Horse Association Futurity on 6 December 2003 in Oklahoma City. A guaranteed first-place paycheck of $175,000 and the NRHA Gelding Incentive Award of $13,304 was earned by the Great Whiz.
