Understanding an airmass, which is a body of air extending from the ground up to about 10 miles, will help a sailor to accurately predict future weather conditions. Airmass types and role of stability in an airmass are the major factors that will help in weather forecasting.

Keeping the water (and your record) clean
Article Abstract:
Marine pollution caused by oil and fuel spills can be prevented by keeping oil out of water, reporting and cleaning up spills, and proper disposal. Preventing spills would mean maintaining a clean marine environment, as well as, avoiding fines.
