The political correctness movement and many uninformed people who consider themselves environmentalists fail to realize that predatory animals sometimes kill off too many of their prey and need to be trapped or hunted. Research was conducted on rabbit, quail, burrowing owls and other species.

The state legislature in Ohio passed a bill in 1994 that reestablished a dove-hunting season. The hunting of mourning doves was halted in the state in 1977 after protesters convinced a judge that the 'bird of peace' should not be killed. This and other conservation news is discussed.

A natural solution
