The greatest differences between amateur and professional golfers lie in their side bend, rotation, weight shift, muscle tension and wrist cock in the swing, and swing time. Golfers gain power by creating and quickly closing a large gap between hip and shoulder rotation during the swing.

The science of grip pressure
Article Abstract:
The pressure that golfers place on the grip affects the entire swing. Most professional golfers use a lighter grip and keep their wrist cocked until the last part of the downswing. An overlap preset drill is described.
