The insights into what it takes for a couple to succeed in cruising life are shared by five well known veteran female cruisers whom Liz Shaw contacted via e-mail. One of them Carolyn Goodlander said that a cruising couple has to have absolute faith in each other in the most trying situations and there are a lot men out there with whom she would be terrified to be at sea.
