A group headed by Dr. Bob Christina has set out to test common tips and drills to determine their efficacy. 95% of the golfers who employed the "Right Heel Up" drill showed improvement, while only 60% of golfers in the study who used the "Miss the Ball" drill showed improvement.

The best slice sure ever
Article Abstract:
100 were teachers what their best drills were to fix the problems that lead to a slice and the six most common drills were tested to find the best fix. The toe-in drill, which is designed to square a clubface at impact, came in on top as the most effective way to cure a slice.

The article discusses three drills for helping golfers with their pitches. The drills are the Middle Ball Drill, the Hit the Tee drill and the Tee in Grip Drill. The author liked the Tee in Grip Drill the best for improving one's pitching contact.
