Chris Doyle's boat, Ti Kanot, a 42-feet catamaran, was built in Trinidad, in a West Indian way and is used by Doyle for surfing the Caribbean. The Ti Kanot built in 20 months with the available material has a sail area of 800 sq. ft and has an average speed of 10.7 knots.
