Research states that physical activity can lift spirits and a group of therapists are mixing exercise into counseling sessions, offering clients the opportunity to walk, run and talk which is a two in one treatment. Keith Johnsgard, professor emeritus at San Jose State University states that vigorous physical activity elicits emotions better than slouching in a chair does.
