The government believes that fish have economic value when killed by commercial fishers, which provide more revenue that sport fishers. Sport fishers believe that the government should focus on increasing fish populations instead of increasing the number of fishers.

A matter of time
Article Abstract:
People who hunt and fish have an opportunity to ignore clocks and get in tune with nature's patterns. Recreation cannot be tied to a schedule, because the only way to relax is to lose track of time. Rural people and farmers lead a more natural life.

A modest proposal
Article Abstract:
It has been suggested that hunters with certified retrievers be allowed to bag an extra bird. Since this would make the dogs more qualified than those doing the shooting, maybe minimum hunter training requirements should be implemented instead.
