Purple power
Article Abstract:
Both red wine and purple grape juice are rich in flavonoids. A small test at the Univ of Wisconsin showed a 60% reduction in the tendency for the blood to clot in people drinking the purple juice in a small test project. Red grape juices and other fruit juices were not as effective.

Survey results indicate that women are not aware that heart disease is the top killer of women. Many women believe that men are more vulnerable to heart disease than women throughout life. In fact, after age 75, women are just as likely as men to develop heart disease.
