Whole-body vibration and postural stress among operators of construction equipment: a literature review
Article Abstract:
Exposure to whole-body vibration and awkward posture among operators of mobile equipment is discussed. Operating engineers (OEs) who are exposed to important factors for the development of musculoskelatal disorders are: whole-body vibration and non-neutral body postures. In order to understand whole-body vibration and postural stress a further discussion is done to evaluate the risk factors among OEs.

A research model-forecasting incident rates from optimized safety program intervention strategies
Article Abstract:
The results of research done to develop analytical models to forecast the incident rates are illustrated. It is found that these models potentially have powerful implications as a business-planning tool for human resource allocation and for designing an optimized safety and health intervention program to minimize incidents.
