Revolving doors
Article Abstract:
The foodservice industry is losing countless workers in their mid-30s due to many factors. The major reasons cited in a survey by Foodservice and Hospitality magazine included poor scheduling, paltry benefits, uncooperative management, belligerent clientele, sexual harassment and a perceived lack of respect by management for their efforts. The poll found that restaurant servers, who constitute the largest staff group at most restaurants, were the most disgruntled group.
