Adapting a tourism crime typology: Classifying outdoor recreation crime
Article Abstract:
The study is carried out to field test the ``using a qualitative approach to confirm the efficacy of the crime typology in a U.S. National forest outdoor recreation setting. Several recommendations are given, with the understanding that they derived from the first run of crime typology and these include refinements of key typology measures of motivations, victims, severity, frequency and riots.

The objective of the study was to distinguish changes in online travel information search behavior among generational cohorts between 1995 and 2000. The findings provide an evolutionary perspective of online travel information search behavior among and within generational cohorts.

Reflections on measuring recreation and travel spending
Article Abstract:
Problems encountered in using visitor surveys to measure travel spending, are reviewed. It is recommended that spending averages be estimated for narrowly defined visitor segments that can be validated with engineering approaches and common sense.
