Blue skies ahead
Article Abstract:
The Canadian foodservice industry is still being prudent in the management of its resources in 1998. This has been prompted by the economic problems that have plagued the decade, starting with the 1990 recession and leading to the persistent economic setbacks in the mid-90s. Foodservice operators who have witnessed the industry's market share decline to a 10-year low in the mid-90s stated that although they are looking forward to report better earnings in 1998, they still are wary of any signs of financial trouble.
