Competitive sport

Article Abstract:

The Sports Council's Sport for All objectives are generally subscribed to by most local authorities, but they are often not sufficiently defined in compulsory competitive tendering (CCT) contracts, according to a report commissioned by the Sports Council. The Sports Council is now holding a series of regional roadshows to indicate how Sport for All objectives can be compatible with CCT legislation. The council's most recent publication provides a range of ideas, recommendations and suggestions on this issue.
