Roland Mack
Article Abstract:
Roland Mack's Europa Park theme park opened in 1975. The park is well-placed to attract visitors from a number of countries, as it is in Germany but close to the French and Swiss borders. Mack has oriented the park towards families from the beginning and feels that this continues to be a sensible business decision due to the demographic projections for Europe. The park is attracting high percentages of return visits, but Mack is increasing accommodation in an attempt to persuade visitors to spend more than one day at Europa Park. The park is currently developing a Greek-themed area.
