Drugs in sport
Article Abstract:
In order to control drug use in sport, governing bodies need to keep updated lists of banned substances, and they need to inform their coaches and athletes so that the latter can never claim lack of knowledge as an excuse when they are caught using certain drugs. Knowledge about banned substances can also help to distinguish athletes taking drugs for legal reasons from those who are taking them illegally.
