Field of dreams
Article Abstract:
Up to 475 million pounds sterling will be invested in the redevelopment of Wembly Sports Stadium, London, making it the premier football ground in England and suitable to stage the 2006 World Cup. The stadium will be re-designed, removing it's famous twin towers, which will be replaced by four steel masts and a giant steel halo. The new stadium will seat an extra 10,000 people, cater for up to 400 people in wheelchairs, provide more toilet facilities for both males and females, while also offering greater variety for people wishing to eat at the sports ground.
