Potential for growth
Article Abstract:
The German leisure industry is relatively undeveloped despite a national sporting interest. Great potential exists for further development due to high average earnings and short working hours. A market opportunity also exists in developing services for those retiring aged 58-60. However, Germans have established interests and may be resistant to new ideas. Leisure development opportunities may exist in the heritage and fitness sectors.
