Article Abstract:
Visitors to Bangkok, Thailand, can take one of the many tours available through the city's hotels and travel agencies, or can choose to travel independently. It is worth taking the River Express ferry ride up the Chao Phraya from the city centre to Nonthaburi. Visitors can also travel the 85 km to Ayutthaya, formerly the country's capital, where there are many ruined temples and palaces.
