Christopher Andreas Kluftinger's career as a chef is discussed. Kluftinger works as district regional executive chef for Western Canada at Aramark Corporation. He is in charge of assembling menus for the business services division, writing proposals for prospective clients, and designing kitchens. His former job as a salvage diver and fish culture technician is also tackled.

Article Abstract:
The Canadian foodservice industry is facing the challenge of finding and retaining employees to meet the projected 300,000 additional workers by 2015. Businesses should consider looking into hiring new Canadian immigrants, the elderly, the disabled, and temporary foreign workers. Efforts to alleviate the labor shortage issue are discussed.
