Packing it right
Article Abstract:
Reheatable containers, sturdy dinner boxes, box lunch boxes, 'pop-up' food and beverage trays, paper barns are some of the alternatives to hinged foam containers for packaging food items. For instance, reheatable containers can be used for food that needs to be piping hot or should be microwaveable. On the other hand, sturdy and stackable dinner boxes can securely pack the ovenable trays, cutlery and condiments as well as the complete meal for the ride home.

Hot from the oven
Article Abstract:
Bakery and cafe operators have come up with a wide range of new bread varieties for breakfast, including twists on traditional items such as muffins, scones, croissants and sweet rolls. Data released by CREST/NPD Canada show that breakfast accounted for 8.4% of overall restaurant traffic in Canada in 1999. The data also indicate that toasted breads and English muffins are still the best-selling breakfast items, followed by doughnuts and bagels.
