Return to vendor
Article Abstract:
Vending facilities offer customers a range of catering products, whilst providing an often overlooked source of income for the site operators. Consumers require vending machines to be attractive and have a wide range of products on offer. The best use of a catering machine is made when it is located in an dedicated seating area, which encourages customers to stay within the leisure complex for longer. Branded machines provide consumers with a reputable product, encouraging them to purchase less well known products. Site operators need to match the vending machine to client's needs.

The penny's dropped
Article Abstract:
It is now possible to obtain a very wide range of products from vending machines, and latest equipment has the potential to play an important part in the services offered by a health club. It is important that the machine is placed in the right location and that the products available are tailored to the requirements of particular customer groups. Items purchased from vending machines are usually impulse purchases, so it is important that vending machines are situated where they can be clearly seen.

This is the vend: cashless systems, hot and cold food in an instant and product lines from suntan lotion to towels
Article Abstract:
There are opportunities for the vending industry as snacking during leisure pursuits continues. The Automatic Vending Association of Britain (AVAB) believes that it is important to make the right products available at the right time and the right place. Modern beverage vending machines can be full automatic, multi-choice units, or simple table top units. They offer accurate ingredient control, and many organisations are using 'cashless' machines for better control and greater convenience.
