Virtual reality (VR) will dominate the UK leisure industry in the 1990s. American inventor, Myron Krueger has been developing the concept since the 1970s. Early applications were in training programmes although Krueger believes leisure applications will determine future development. In the UK manufacturers are developing VR games and desktop applications.
