Article Abstract:
A review of the tourist industry in Zambia is presented. The estimated revenue from tourism has increased from US$75 million in 1998 to US$85 million in 1999. Many of the visitors to Zambia come from South africa, the UK and Australia. It is anticipated the number of tourists to Zambia will rise by around 10% per year durign 1999-2004.

Article Abstract:
A review of the tourist industry in China is presented. Tourism was expected to achieve earnings of US$ 14 billion by 2000 but by 1999 the figures had already been overtaken. In 1998-99 the most visitors came from either, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Russia. China is the most popular destination in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Bahamas
Article Abstract:
A review of the travel industry in the Bahamas is presented. Almost 60% of the national income comes from the tourist trade, which employs around 40% of the workforce on the island. The majority of visitors, at 81.8%, come from the US.
