The Arts Club of Chicago has an established reputation for presenting avant-garde art since its opening in 1917. The club is planning to move to a new location in Chicago, and younger members will be added to rejuvenate the elitist organization. The club is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Hockney paints the town bright for opera and art
Article Abstract:
Hockney will be in Chicago in January for the exhibition of his new paintings and the Lyric Opera's production of 'Turandot.' The Richard Gray Gallery will exhibit 19 of his new paintings. Hockney designed the set for the Lyric Opera production.
