Airline ratings: C- for ATA's report card
Article Abstract:
The criteria used by the Air Travelers Assn is based on the ratio of fatal accidents to the total number of flights, which can produce skewed results if the number of flights is low. Large airlines that had more accidents received higher ratings than small airlines that had one accident.
