Female members of the National Rifle Assn. should correspond with their state fish and wildlife agencies and praise them for supporting programs that involve women in hunting and wildlife conservation to counter the efforts of anti-hunting advocates and animal rights extremists.

The pro-gun community needs to encourage more women to go into the sport of shooting and hunting. A good number of women are discouraged from going into the sport due to the lack of mentors or buddies which will ignite their interest.
