A man who lives in one of the three Maritime Provinces, Canada, describes the place. The three provinces are Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The provinces are famous for their unique mixture of wildlife and culture. The man tells a story of seeing a bear on the way to work, and then listening to a speech by a famous peace-activist at night.
