A whole category of wonderfully comfortable and well-appointed chain hotels have come which fills the gap for hotel-loving writers and other non-millionaires with expensive tastes.

The Willcox Inn was founded in Aiken, South Carolina in a part of town that was well-known as a resort area from the turn of the nineteenth century. Visitors are deluged with the world of horse-riding, polo, not to mention a day spa and the authentic resort building.
